Where it all began
In 2020, our Founder & CEO (Makayla Hay) started her journey in body butter after realizing that there was a lack of skin moisturizers formulated without unnecessary chemicals in commercial products. Because of this, she ventured into the realm of all-natural homemade skin care. Through extensive research and experimentation with botanical ingredients, she discovered the incredible benefits of pure, natural formulations. Inspired by the power of these ingredients she set out to create her own line of skincare that is both gentle and transformative to one's skin health. Today, Millie's Products is the result of her passion for natural wellness and determination to create effective skin care solutions without the undesirable additives.
The name Millie's Products is a tribute to our founders' great grandmother Annie Millie Jane Newsome Taylor. After her grandmothers passing, Makayla reflected on how much her grandmother's loving and caring spirit impacted her life. Her grandmother always made sure to uplift and look after those around her, and this inspires Makayla to do the same. Through Millie's Products, Makayla hopes to inspire others to extend their hand to help those that need it and may the spirit of Annie Millie Jane Newsome Taylor live on.
